![]() I'll be able to get another 1.5 - 2 years or so out of them at the way they still look IMO. Not sure if they run them through a sharpening program or just clean them up when they come in. For reference, they were listed as Very Good Condition. The grooves on these when I got them from CPO felt almost brand new. ![]() Just because they're used when you buy them doesn't mean they're going to be beat to hell. I play at least once a week and have had these for about 1.5 years. and maybe that's not possible, But that's what I'm trying to figure out. Because for me I don't really give a shit if I have a name brand if I hit them well and score well. And that's the question I'm trying to answer, are these (or other NEW wedges) have a good give and take between money and performance. And I'm trying to find that balance between the give and take between money and performance. But I think for me (for wedges) I want to go with new. Especially wedges which is a touch and feel precision tool. But I AM after comfort, and for me part of that is not switching clubs constantly. That new shiny look is gone after a handful of round and they look like every other club in your bag, I get that. Then you need another $100 for 4 year old wedges? Then need to get re comfortable with them? I think I personally rather drop the $350 and have 1 set for their entire life 5-6 year life and not keep switching wedges every other year. Those grooves are going to be shot (or atleast on their way out) in another year or 2 depending on the amount you play. But they are also coming up on 4 years of use on them. I guess my view is used wedges will most likely need replacing sooner than new ones. I expect them to be a lesser club, but by how much?įor reference, I'm a 14 handicap and golf about twice a week during the golf season. exactly how they compared to the top brands. Would like some input on these wedges and if they are any good and if they are good. I see good reviews and I don't expect them to be at the same level as the top brands, but I'm curious as lately we are starting to see more and more small companies with products that are quality but don't have the price tag (like Vice). The idea is that they are cheaper due to less advertising and not paying high priced athletes. They supposed to be pretty nice, premium forged, milled wedges. ![]() I saw Lazurs wedges online at a much lower price. I'd like a full set and it's just a lot of money for me right now at $150 a wedge. (leaning towards the MD5's or some Mizuno's).
